A genetically modified organism (GMO) or genetically engineered organism (GEO) is an organism whose genetic material has been altered using genetic engineering techniques. These techniques are generally known as recombinant DNA technology. With recombinant DNA technology, DNA molecules from different sources are combined in vitro into one molecule to create a new gene. This DNA is then transferred into an organism and causes the expression of modified or novel traits.

Genetically modified (GM) foods are foods produced from GMO that have had their DNA altered through genetic engineering. GM foods were first put on the market in the early 1990s. The most common modified foods are derived from plants: soybean, corn, canola cotton seed oil and wheat.

Natural Skin Care Treatment Reduces Intrinsic Aging

Did you know that there are two types of aging? One is "extrinsic" and the other is "internal". Extrinsic aging is caused by external causes and is known as something under our control. Intrinsic aging is from internal, genetic causes and is the "natural" aging process. It is true that a certain number of intrinsic aging occurs naturally, it is also true that a large part of it is preventable. The secret lies in our diet and lifestyle, and our choices in skin care products. Many products on the shelves accelerate aging, and if you want to slow the aging process, it is important natural skin care treatment products that are the natural function and defense.

Intrinsic aging leads to wrinkles, thin and transparent skin, eyes and cheeks hollow sockets from the loss of collagen and underlying fat, sagging, loose skin on the face, hands and neck, bone loss that causes further sagging and dry skin. All these are available as part of a natural process and therefore can not be avoided.

studies over several cultures in which people live in their 90's, and even well over 100 with very little of this supposedly "natural" degeneration. The people of the Hunza Valley in Pakistan, for example, regularly live into their late 90s and beyond, without a sign of degenerative diseases. Tests for cancer, cardiovascular diseases, obesity and diabetes, to name just a few of what they expect that at this age, were negative. In fact, they are completely healthy. This is just one of many such cultures. You're decades younger than the years, and have beautiful skin.

Granted, they have no access to the treatment of many skin care products we have available to us, so what do they have that we do not? In fact, the mystery is better solved by them, what they do not have: air and water, processed foods containing GMOs, soils and preservatives, chemicals, produces hormones, drugs, antibiotics, the animals in cages and force led that foods are not part of their natural food, and even more drugs and antibiotics, which we record, fruits and vegetables loaded with toxic chemicals, household full of poison, the clean kitchen, floors, walls and clothes and the smell of fresh "natural "pine or lavender, sedentary lifestyle and, yes, skin care treatment products that profess to be the fountain of youth and, indeed, to many of the conditions under which they supposedly treat. We are witnessing a classic example of the cure is worse than the disease.

While the picture looks bleak, there is a solution, and it is not difficult to implement: Make a list of elements before and systematically eliminate them from your budget. Choose healthy, natural, organic, chemical-free, non-GMO food or who are in their natural surroundings, you will find non-toxic detergent and a little more elbow grease, turn off the TV and up for a run, and switch to natural skin care treatment products that are the natural function and structure and for the protection of substances which have to be "natural" aging.

This action alone will soon be your skin problems that are not your natural beauty, a thing of the past.

Genetically Modified Maize Vaccine Can Aid Farmers in Developing Nations

In many developing countries around the world, small farmers often exclusively on poultry farming for their livelihood. Unfortunately, for many of these farmers, this livelihood has been through the Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV), a contagious and fatal viral disease which infects a wide range of domestic and wild birds, including chickens. NDV also has a devastating effect on commercial poultry production. As for poultry vaccines are too expensive for the farmers who eke a meager living, a cost-effective solution to be developed. Fortunately, researchers in Mexico have shown that only.

Researchers in Mexico have been genetically modified corn plants to edible vaccine for poultry against Newcastle Disease virus. The researchers, including Octavio Guerrero-Andrade of the Center for Research and Advanced Studies (CINVESTAV) in Guanajuato, created a gene from the Newcastle disease virus into maize plants? DNA. Chickens, which eat the genetically modified (GM) maize produced antibodies against the virus. The maize also provide protection against infection, with the commercial vaccines.

The researchers? Results were published in Transgenic Research earlier this month. She hoped that these genetically modified corn plants, small poultry farmers protect their flocks of NDV.

? The disease is important and a big killer? Frands Dolberg said the Network for smallholder poultry development, dealing with partners in developing countries to promote poultry farming as a way to improve livelihoods.

According to the findings, vaccines against diseases that affect poultry food already exist, but are not usually in small quantities, often by individual families or villages.

? It is a big problem in the provision of the vaccine to many millions of poor poultry farmers throughout the world, and the genetically modified (GM) maize could be a possibility? Frands Dolberg said.

farmers in developing countries are fighting every day for a living against adverse conditions. They are fighting for access to new technologies that can help their lives better, even more crucial that vaccines can their poultry farms. Using this genetically modified maize that the researchers in Mexico have developed, these vaccines are needed, easily accessible, less costly, and won? T cooled as conventional vaccines do not. It will ultimately help save and protect the peasants? Futures.
