Truth about GMO

Wow! As the operator of an online think-tank, I can not believe how many people want the FDA a hard time these days? Some believe that we should not tinker with the food or feed lots of drugs on humans. Much of that is difficult to discuss, and yet, even in those who believe; Survival of the fittest theory, to participate in online think-tanks will be based on the realities of life on Earth.

They really seems to enjoy the debate on genetically modified foods. There are arguments against genetically modified foods, and we have all heard it from both environmentalists and religious groups. Environmental groups do not want the native plants in the nature changed. Religious groups say God does not play with our food chain.

And nor the other side of the debate is, you see water supply GM foods mean, perhaps to be growing with less water in drought times. People keep reproduce, too much population and nutrition around the world and the United Nations, World Bank and others can not keep feeding any bottlenecks, shipping (deterioration). So GM foods could contribute to beat hunger. But GM crops for cellulous higher value for ethanol worthy? Terminator seeds to prevent infiltration natural crops. And less chemicals in the fields to help with Run-off and ocean dead zones, oxygen and such.

We course, the FDA Folks research to examine all of this? To ensure that things make sense. The FDA receives a lot of harassment indeed lead to new drugs, studies and approvals, pretty political game. Having cures for some of the complaints provides people with quality of life and with each rendition of studies they learn. It is regrettable that we only deal with matters, we should cure. Yes, you know, I think you could really like the discussions on these subjects. But my task in this article is simple and that is to propel thoughts in 2007.
